At Hennessay Medical, we have intentionally created a smaller, relationship-based practice where you are known, heard, and cared for by your doctor — not a system.
By limiting the number of patients in the practice, Dr. Hennessay is able to spend meaningful time with each person, focusing on prevention, continuity, and long-term health rather than rushed, transactional visits. This patient-first approach is reflected in our consistent 5-star reviews and the experience patients describe: unhurried visits, thoughtful follow-up, and direct access when it matters most.

Simple, Transparent Pricing
Beginning May 1, 2026, we no longer accept insurance for new patients. Even if we remain in-network for some existing patients, we do not bill insurance for new patient care.
Instead, we offer clear, straightforward pricing:
- $350 for the first visit
- $265 for follow-up visits
- Payment due at time of service
- You may still use your insurance for medications, labs, imaging, and specialist care
For many patients with high-deductible PPO plans, this model can actually result in more predictable and sometimes lower out-of-pocket costs. Rather than sending patients to urgent care or the emergency room, we prioritize direct access to your doctor and continuity of care.
Same- or next-day access is reserved for urgent needs. Personalized Primary Care or Direct Primary Care membership is required to see Dr. Hennessay after the first visit.

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I could receive healthcare like this. Firstly, the place is super cute, cozy, inviting, and most importantly, CLEAN.
I was greeted by name when I walked in the door. They were clearly ready for me (my first of firsts). I felt heard, attended to, cared for, and left feeling comfortable with a plan of action to check in on my health after many years of not seeing a doctor due to poor experiences and wait times. Dr. Hennessay and her staff delivered in every way.
I will note, there is a membership fee. This ensures that she can stay in business while delivering on the promises she makes as your doctor (the reason I was enticed to see her in the first place). My initial reaction was hesitation, but once I found out how extremely reasonable the monthly fee is and why she institutes this practice, I was sold.
No wait times, seeing the actual doctor you scheduled with, attentive and active care, and ability to get same day appointments. No brainer.

What a gift Dr. Hennessay and her husband Mike are! I have lived in many places in the U.S. and around the world and this is by far the most thoughtful and personalized care I have ever received.
All decisions are made in consultation with the patient, and information is always delivered via careful and candid communication. Dr. Hennessay is a highly skilled and knowledgeable physician. She is also friendly and energetic while remaining professional in all that she does.
